Welcome to RFCC
We are a consulting and project management team specializing in Public Safety 9-1-1 radio systems and PSAP/Dispatch Center communications equipment, services and operations. Our work is dedicated to the public safety radio and dispatch communications industry: It is our primary focus.

We recognize an agency’s radio system is the primary and critical link for the first responders providing emergency services to the citizens and businesses in your communities. Our staff has worked with hundreds of public safety customers to conduct system reviews, coverage analysis, planning, budgeting, RFP/RFB development, vendor management and implementation services. The common goal is reliable communications for our clients' operations.

We also believe that the process to reach a goal is often as important as the outcome. RFCC partners with our customers to guide each project step and meet their objectives. Our goal is the success of your radio system project, and the resulting benefits to your first responder agencies and citizens.

RFCC has decades of experience in public safety radio system analysis, design, and implementation. We are ready to work with your agency to resolve system problems and obtain improved communications for your operations.

St. Francois and Ste. Genevieve Counties, Missouri: 2023: RFCC was retained by St. Francois and Ste. Genevieve Counties to assist with an upgrade from basic VHF analog systems to Simulcast P25 VHF radio systems. A detailed radio operations study was conducted in 2023 which resulted in a plan for new multi-site Simulcast networks for both counties. The two counties operate from a joint 9-1-1 center in Park Hills, Missouri.

This work included the development of 7 new towers sites within the two counties for the installation of the County's new VHF radio equipment, as well as radio microwave links to all tower sites.

The 7 new tower sites were constructed in 2024, and a contract awarded to Tait Radio North America for the new radio systems. Cutover to the new systems is anticipated in 2025.
Greene County Iowa; October 2022: RFCC has been enlisted by Greene County to assist with the County's migration from VHF to the State of Iowa ISICS 700 MHz P25 radio network. This work will include the development of a new tower site in the Jefferson area for the installation of the County's 700 MHz ISICS radio and network equipment, as well as microwave radio links to neighboring ISICS sites.

New Motorola mobile and portable radios have been purchased for use by local public safety agencies. Cutover to the new system is anticipated in late 2024/early 2025.

Webster County Iowa; July 2022: RFCC has been retained by Webster County (Fort Dodge area) to manage the addition of a new 3rd ISICS 700 MHz tower site in the Lehigh area of the county for expanded portable radio coverage, due to the challenging river valley terrain in this part of the county.

RFCC is providing project management and tower site development, with project completion in 2024.
